Ryan Scott Weber- co-creator
Ryan Scott Weber is an American independent filmmaker. He is known for his feature films and for playing drums in the New Jersey-based pop punk band Crash Romeo. He is the co-creator of New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival in Edison, New Jersey. He came up with the idea of the Con and festival mix after attending many for his films. His films include Mary Horror (2011), Sheriff Tom Vs. The Zombies(2012), Witches Blood(2014) and his current film “Pretty Fine Things”. In 2013 Weber also wrote, produced and directed a TV series called Zombies Incorporated. It is now in its 3rd season. His short films are “The Legend of Zeke”(2013) and “Ghouls Night Out”(2016). With Crash Romeo he made two albums as the drummer “Minutes to Miles” and “Gave me the Clap”. Ryan is excited to build up the Horror scene even more in New Jersey with his creation of The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival. Bringing filmmakers and Celebrities together in an awesome 3 day event held twice a year.
Rob Bruce- co-creator
Rob Bruce is known as “The Popculturist” and from AMC’s hit show “Comic Book Men” on-air expert as well a consulting Producer for the show. He also co-created the “Asbury Park Comic Con” and “New York Comic Fest” and with more than 30 years of experience in conventions is now one of the co-creators of New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival. Rob is excited to build up the scene even more in New Jersey with his creation of The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival. Bringing filmmakers and Celebrities together in an awesome 3 day event held twice a year.
Mellisa OCDC Franco – Vendor Coordinator
Melissa “OCDC” Franco is the Vendor Coordinator for the NJ Horror Con & Film Festival. An experienced manager in coordinating vendor and craft fairs, she has lent her considerable talents to other horror, toy, and comic conventions. A life-long supporter of small businesses and local vendors, she is also the behind-the-scenes middle woman at Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse in Dunellen, NJ, coordinating everything from music shows to fundraisers. Melissa also works in front of the cameras, and has performed in two of Ryan Scott Webber’s films: “Sheriff Tom vs. The Zombies” (2013) as ‘Carrie the Zombie Roller Girl’ and as one of the ravenous Undead in “Witches’ Blood” (2014). While no longer playing roller derby competitively, she still rolls with her team!
